Precipitation nowcasting
Programs for our precipitation nowcasting system (RIKEN nowcast). We use a kinematic approach based on an advection equation and a data-driven approach based on motion of precipitation pattern. To improve the system further, we are investigating a deep-learning-based algorithm.
